Due to the strain on doctors surgeries people are often being encouraged to go to their pharmacist to have their flu vaccinations.

At Moulton Pharmacy we offer NHS and private flu vaccinations. We always carry out the vaccination in our private consultation room and we keep your doctor informed.

Am I eligible for a free NHS vaccine?

The eligible groups for the 2024/25 service are:

• 65 and over (including those who'll be 65 by 31 March 2025)
• have certain health conditions
• are pregnant
• are in long-stay residential care
• receive a carer's allowance, or are the main carer for an older or disabled person who may be at risk if you get sick
• live with someone who is more likely to get infections (such as someone who has HIV, has had a transplant or is having certain treatments for cancer, lupus or rheumatoid arthritis)
• frontline health or social care workers

How much does it cost to have a private flu jab?

You can get it for as little as £16.99 (2024/2025)
