Keeping you safe when you visit us

Flu vaccinations by appointment. Book one  online, through our app or call us on 01604 643817.

On the day of the appointment please follow the steps below:

  • Arrive on time (due to the high demand we might not be able to do your jab if you are late)
  • Use hand sanitizer
  • Wear short sleeve top/shirt to make the access to your upper arm quick and easy

You will be asked to complete the consent form and a member of staff will ask you some questions regarding COVID-19.

Please get in touch to re-arrange your appointment ASAP if:

  • You or a member of your household has COVID-19
  • You are waiting for a COVID-19 test or a test result
  • You have a high temperature or a fever or are generally unwell

Due to the strain on doctors surgeries people are often being encouraged to go to their pharmacist to have their flu vaccinations.

At Moulton Pharmacy we offer NHS and private flu vaccinations. We always carry out the vaccination in our private consultation room and we keep your doctor informed.

Am I eligible for a free NHS vaccine?

The eligible groups for the 2023/24 service are:

  • 65 and over (including those who'll be 65 by 31 March 2024)
  • have certain health conditions
  • are pregnant
  • are in long-stay residential care
  • receive a carer's allowance, or are the main carer for an older or disabled person who may be at risk if you get sick
  • live with someone who is more likely to get infections (such as someone who has HIV, has had a transplant or is having certain treatments for cancer, lupus or rheumatoid arthritis)
  • frontline health or social care workers

How much does it cost to have a private flu jab?

You can get it for as little as £15.99 (2023/2024)
